Accessibility statement
How usable this shop is, measured rather than claimed.
This statement applies to enamelift.com, the online shop operated by ENAMELIFT. It was last reviewed on 4 September 2026.
What we are aiming at
We build this shop to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, which is the standard behind EN 301 549 and the European Accessibility Act. The aim is plain enough: anyone should be able to read what we sell, work out whether it suits them, and buy it, whatever they are using to do it.
Conformance status
Partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Most of this site meets the standard and some of it has not been independently verified.
We would rather say that than claim a clean bill we have not earned. What is verified and what is not is set out below.
What is in place today
Checked across the home page, the product page, the science and reviews pages, the cart and the policy pages:
- Every image carries alternative text, and decorative images are marked as decorative.
- Every button and link has a name a screen reader can announce. There are no icon-only controls without a label.
- Every form control has a label attached to it, including the pack selector, the subscription toggle and the review form.
- One page heading per page, with headings in order, so the page can be navigated by structure.
- A skip-to-content link at the top of every page.
- The whole shop is operable by keyboard, and focus is always visible.
- Animation is suppressed for anyone whose system asks for reduced motion.
- Text and interface colours come from a fixed palette we check for contrast, and page language is set so screen readers pronounce it correctly.
- The page is built to reflow and stay usable when text is enlarged or the window is narrow.
Known limitations
- No independent audit yet. The assessment behind this statement is our own, done with automated checks and keyboard testing. We have not yet commissioned an external audit or testing with assistive-technology users, and until we do, this statement stays at "partially conformant".
- English only. The shop is published in English across all 27 countries we ship to. If that is a barrier for you, email us and we will answer your question directly in writing.
- Checkout and account pages. Payment, checkout and the customer account area are provided by Shopify and rendered on their systems. We choose the platform and we will raise problems with them, but we do not control that code.
- Richer components. The comparison tabs, accordions and the reviews carousel are the parts most likely to have rough edges with a screen reader. They are the first thing on our list to test properly.
Compatibility
The shop is built to work in current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, on desktop and on phones, and to degrade gracefully in older ones. It does not require JavaScript to read the content or to reach any policy or information page.
How this statement was made
Prepared on 4 September 2026 following a self-assessment of the live site: automated checks over every public page for alternative text, control labelling, heading structure, page language and reduced-motion support, plus keyboard walkthroughs of the buying path. It is reviewed whenever we make a substantial change to the shop.
Tell us about a barrier
If you hit something on this site you cannot use, email hi@enamelift.com and say what you were trying to do. We answer within one working day, and if the fix is quick we make it that week.
If you would rather not use email, or you need the information on any page in another form, ask and we will send it to you in whatever format works.
If we do not put it right
Tell us first and give us a chance. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can raise it with the consumer or accessibility enforcement authority in the EU country where you live. In Bulgaria, where we are established, the consumer authority is the Commission for Consumer Protection, kzp.bg.
